App and website for Holy Masses in the neighbourhood!

Project ‘Mis in de buurt’ (Mass in the neighbourhood) concerns a website and app for church attendees who are on a trip/holiday. Through this website and app, people can search for a Holy Mass in their neighbourhood and in accordance with an (by the bishops) approved rite. For example, a Holy Mass celebrated in accordence with the Roman Missal. This allows a church attendee to go to Holy Mass with peace of mind. In addition, Mass times are kept up-to-date.

Purpose and target group

The app is mostly used by Roman Catholics on holiday or business trips in the Netherlands. This way, they can be sure they can go to a Holy Mass that is in accordance with the Church.

As project leader, I am responsible for all general matters surrounding the project. I am responsible for the planning process; from time planning and financial planning to keeping in touch with stakeholders and the team.

Goodmorning! My name is Wouter. I am happily married, we have a little daughter, and we love Jesus! Through my own company, A+M+D+G, I work as a project coordinator for various projects, especially for "MisInDeBuurt."

The Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of my life! I am glad to assist Stichting Acutis because I want to help promote a love for the Holy Eucharist.

Hi! I’m Suzanna, Wouter’s wife. I’m involved in Wouter’s company, A+M+D+G, and I help Stichting Acutis here and there with various tasks, like writing texts or managing social media.

I find the Eucharist so special; Jesus gives Himself completely to us in the humble form of bread and wine. He makes Himself so small for us because He wants to be as close as possible to us. What an incomprehensible love!
