Project Children’s book

A children's book about a Eucharistic miracle!

We are in the process of writing a children’s book about ‘the Eucharistic miracle with the fish’.

Purpose and target group

This book is especially for children who will soon receive their First Holy Communion. It is different from other Catholic children’s books because we focus on children who do not inherit the faith so strongly from home, but are receiving their First Holy Communion. To reach these children, we use a simple writing style and involve animals in the story.

As project leader, I am responsible for all general matters surrounding the project. I am responsible for the planning process; from time planning and financial planning to keeping in touch with stakeholders and the team.

As project leader, I am responsible for the content. I provide a critical eye for the text and illustrations, not only from myself but also by asking for feedback from children of this age and their parents.

As the writer of the children's book, I am providing the text. I myself live in the United States and am English-speaking. I therefore provide an English-language text, which will later be translated. I have already written several children's books about the Catholic faith and won an award for them. Illustrator (external team member)

As an illustrator, I provide the drawings for the children's book. I live in Mexico myself and am Spanish-speaking. I already have extensive experience making drawings (illustrations) for books, apps and various. Click on the link to see my Instagram account for some examples.
